Without a shadow of doubt, the greatest gadget for girls/women has been the GPS systems for drivers - like the TomTom.

How my partner ever got from A to B without one of these in the past is a complete mystery; in fact, she almost became as legendary as the Marie Celeste until I bought her one.

The good thing back then was, if she was nipping out to the shop for something, I would have at least 5 hours peace and quiet for the 1 mile round trip.....
